Sacramental Preparation for Children
We’re getting ready to begin again our preparations for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation (Primary 3) and First Holy Communion (Primary 4). If you’d like your children to receive these Sacraments, please pick up a registration form in the porch after Mass. There will be an initial (and essential!) parents’ meeting on Wednesday 12th September for parents of P3, and Wednesday 19th September for P4, both at 6.30pm in the Cathedral Café. Please put these dates in your diaries.
Young Adults’ Group
Following an extended summer break, the Young Adults' Group is starting back for a new year in a few weeks' time. The first event will be a wine and cheese party in the Cathedral Café on Tuesday 18th of September at 7pm. The talks will begin the following week: details coming soon. So, if you're aged between 18-35 please come along, meet some great people and (most importantly!) grow in your relationship with Jesus.
Fr. Nick's Farewell
Please join us to officially say thank you and farewell to Fr. Nick for his time here at the Cathedral. We will be having a reception on Friday, September 21 at 7 PM in the Cathedral Hall. All are welcome to come. Tickets for the event will be sold after every weekend Mass until September 16. The price is £10/single or £20/family and will include some small nibbles and two drinks.
