Twentieth Sunday - Year A

a big thank you

. . . to all who helped to prepare and organise the parish social for our Patronal Feastday last Tuesday. The Mass was lovely, with simply beautiful music provided by Simon and his choir, and it was great to see so many of you at the reception in the Hall afterwards. It was a wonderful evening!

Volunteers for teas and coffees

Thank you also to those who signed up last week to serve tea and coffee after Mass. However, we still need more volunteers! If you think you might be able to volunteer a bit of time on a Sunday morning, please sign up on the forms at the back of the Church. Obviously, if we get enough volunteers then each team would only be involved every now and again. Many hands make light work . . .

Carfin pilgrimage 3 september

On Sunday 3 September, Scotland will be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary at the National Pilgrimage in honour of Our Lady of Fatima. A coach will leave our Cathedral at 12.15pm. If anyone is interested in buying tickets (only £10!) or would like more details, please speak with Godwin or Mary in the Legion of Mary or contact the Cathedral Office.

God bless you all,

Fr Patrick, Fr Nick, Deacon Peter, and Sr. Mary Julian
