Twenty-Seventh Sunday - Year A

Welcome to Sr Mary Cora, RSM

We are very happy to welcome to the parish Sr Mary Cora, our new parish sister. Sister arrived from the States on Monday and has been settling into the parish this past week. I know that you will make sister very welcome as you see her around the parish.

The Young Adults’ Group

The Young Adults’ Group continues to meet each Wednesday at 7pm in the café. This series explores the 10 Commandments and this week Fr Phil Cunnah, from the Diocese of Middlesborough, will be speaking about the place of Sunday in our week and in our relationship with God. There will be the opportunity to socialise in the pub afterwards – all under 35s welcome.

Passkeepers Needed

There is an urgent need for more passkeepers at all Sunday Masses (including the Vigil on Saturday evening). Passkeeping is an important ministry in the life of the parish, welcoming visitors and helping the smooth-running of liturgies. Parish council members will be in the porch after all Masses next Sunday to take details of anyone who would be interested in volunteering and answer questions.  Please do consider volunteering some of your time to this important work.
