Mass for the Sick

The St Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP) invites parishioners and visitors to a Mass for the Sick on Saturday, 21st October at noon.  This is a beautiful Mass where all are welcome especially those who are ill, and during which the Sacrament of the Sick will be administered.  If you would like to help, or know someone who needs help to attend the Mass, please call 07943 691517.

Young Adults’ Group

The series on the Ten Commandments continues this Wednesday at 7pm in the Café with our very own Fr Nick speaking on the fifth commandment: ‘Honour your Father and Mother: The Family as the Foundation of Society.’ All under-35’s welcome.

Marking the 50th Anniversary of the Abortion Act

Friday 27th October marks the 50th Anniversary of the passing of the Abortion Act in Britain. Since then 8 million abortions have taken place in this country. To mark this tragic annniversary we will offer the 12.45 Mass on the 27th for all victims of abortion. The Mass will be followed by a short period of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, finishing at 1.30pm with an Act of Reparation.
