Please join Archbishop Cushley and us for the celebration of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday at 7pm.
The Mass of the Lord’s Supper marks the beginning of the Sacred Triduum, when the Church solemnly celebrates the greatest mysteries of our redemption, keeping by means of special celebrations the memorial of her Lord crucified, buried and risen.
In commemoration of the Last Supper which Our Lord celebrated together with the apostles in the Upper Room, His Grace the Archbishop will be washing the feet of twelve members of the Parish Community. The celebration of the Eucharist will be followed by a procession with the Blessed Sacrament to the Altar of Repose, around which all are invited to watch and pray together with Jesus commemorating His agony in the garden of Gethsemane.
The liturgical celebration will conclude with Night Prayer at 11pm.
